Pink Peppercorns 10oz
Pink Peppercorns (Baies Roses), Schinus species, are berries native to the Island of Reunion, located in the Western Indian Ocean. They are not related to the Piper nigrum species that produce black and white pepper and green peppercorns.
Pink Peppercorns are similar to pepper but impart a distinctively sweet, fragrant quality in food preparation. Pink Peppercorns are often used as a seasoning in sauces, dressings, dips, and mustards, as well as a flavoring agent in prepared foods or as a garnish. Also excellent with steak or chicken or with melted butter for vegetables, rice, or pasta.
